Ingredients:
- 1 cup sesame seeds (til)
- 3/4 cup jaggery (gud), grated or chopped
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
- Roast sesame seeds in a heated pan without any oil. Remove from pan when they turn golden . Set aside.
- Roast peanuts , dispose of the skin.
- Heat ghee and add jaggery, in the same pan. Stir together till it melts and thickens.
- At this stage, to improve flavor, add cardamom powder .
- Quickly blend in roasted sesame seeds and peanuts. Stir properly so the whole lot is coated with jaggery.
- The ladoos should be formed while the mixture is still hot. For making ladoos grease your fingers with ghee and form small ladoos.
- Let the ladoos cool down. Store them in an airtight jar.
