Method:

1. Kala Chana Cooking :
In pressure cooker add socked Chana, water and a small amount of salt. Wait for 15 to 20 min or 4 to 5 whistles to get Chana cooked properly. Separate the Chana in two parts, make paste of first half.
2. Base Preparation:
To prepare the base of Chana take oil or ghee in pan and let the oil get heated. In heated oil add cumin seeds and cook for some time. Now add cook onion, garlic and ginger and wait to turn it golden brown.
3. Adding spices & tomatoes:
In above mixture add green chilies, tomatoes, coriander powder and cook till tomato become soft.
4. Mixing with chana:
Add the Chana into prepared masala and cook it for 10 to 15 min.
5. Final touchup:
Finally add a small amount of garam masala and check for salt. Adjust salt as per your teste.
6. Serve:
Before serving add fresh chopped coriander and lemon juice on Chana masala.
