  1. Cook dal
    • Wash the dal and cook in pressure cooker. Add water, salt ,haldi and cook until soft.
  2. Palak preparation
    • Take palak , wash and chop them finely.
  3. Tadka preparation
    • Take a pan, heat ghee . Add garlic, jeera in hot ghee and fry till golden.
  4. Add tomatoes and spices
    • Add chilli , garam masala and cook tomatoes till they become soft.
  5. Mix dal and spinach
    • Add cooked dal and spinach to the pan. Cook on low flame .
  6. Adjust seasoning
    • Add water to adjust the consistency .
  7. Serve
