- Cook dal
- Wash the dal and cook in pressure cooker. Add water, salt ,haldi and cook until soft.
- Palak preparation
- Take palak , wash and chop them finely.
- Tadka preparation
- Take a pan, heat ghee . Add garlic, jeera in hot ghee and fry till golden.
- Add tomatoes and spices
- Add chilli , garam masala and cook tomatoes till they become soft.
- Mix dal and spinach
- Add cooked dal and spinach to the pan. Cook on low flame .
- Adjust seasoning
- Add water to adjust the consistency .
- Serve
- Enjoy Dal Palak with rice or roti.
