
Hot and Sour Soup is an Indo‑Chinese soup that balances vinegar, chili, and soy sauce. This soup is hearty and warming ,loaded with vegetables , tofu, and mushroom . You can add egg to it, for a non vegetarian version

- Vegetables preparation
- First step is to prepare all vegetables. Wash and cut them in small pieces. Cut all the vegetables like tofu, , carrot.
- Boiling broth
- Heat a pot and pour vegetable or chicken broth in the pot . Boil it.
- Add vegetables
- Add mushrooms, carrots. Cook for some minutes.
- Thicken
- Add cornstarch slurry and stir till soup thickens .
- Season
- Take vinegar, chili sauce, soy sauce, white pepper and season it.
- Add tofu or egg
- Slowly add tofu or egg.
- Finish
- Add chopped spring onions.
