Hot and Sour Soup is an Indo‑Chinese soup that balances vinegar, chili, and soy sauce. This soup is hearty and warming ,loaded with vegetables , tofu, and mushroom . You can add egg to it, for a non vegetarian version

Method:

  1. Vegetables preparation
    • First step is to prepare all vegetables. Wash and cut them in small pieces. Cut all the vegetables like tofu, , carrot.
  2. Boiling broth
    • Heat a pot and pour vegetable or chicken broth in the pot . Boil it.
  3. Add vegetables
    • Add mushrooms, carrots. Cook for some minutes.
  4. Thicken
    • Add cornstarch slurry and stir till soup thickens .
  5. Season
    • Take vinegar, chili sauce, soy sauce, white pepper and season it.
  6. Add tofu or egg
    • Slowly add tofu or egg.
  7. Finish
    • Add chopped spring onions.
