Instructions:

  1. Soaking of fruits: Take dry fruits from the list (Black raisins, Prunes, Apricots, Dates, Dried figs, Cranberries) and chopped it all. Now mix all the chopped dry fruit into rum and orange juice. Soak it for a week and max up to a month.
  2. Pan Preparation: Take a 9-inch circular pan with parchment paper. Before starting baking, heating of oven is very important. Pre-heat oven by 170'C.
  3. Mix of dry substances: Take a bowl and add flour, almond meal, baking powder, baking soda and spices and mix them well together.
  4. Cream wet elements: Beat oil and brown sugar till fluffy. Add curd and vanilla extract.
  5. Combine: Slowly add dry elements to moist combination. Add in soaked fruits and nuts.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into the pan. Bake for ninety mins or until a skewer comes out easy. 
  7. Cool down: Leave the cake to cool. Wrap the cake in butter paper , and put in an airtight box.
