What Is Soan Papdi?
Soan Papdi is a traditional north Indian sweet. This sweet is also known as Sohan Papdi or Son Papri. to make a Soan Papdi we will be needed besan, maida, ghee, sugar water, milk, green cardamom powder. This sweet is one of the most gifted sweets in Diwali and Raksha Bandhan.Ingredients:

- Prepare the flour base
- Take Besan and Maida in a bowl and mix it well together. After preparing mixture melt the ghee and add the mixture in melted ghee. Cook it till it turns golden brown. Keep it aside to cool barely.
- Make the sugar syrup
- In another pan, integrate sugar, water, and milk. Boil till the syrup reaches a 2 and 1/2-thread consistency - this is critical for achieving the flaky texture.
- Combine and beat
- Pour the new syrup into the roasted flour combination. Immediately beat the mixture vigorously with a big fork till it starts forming thread-like flakes.
- Shape and cool
- Place the mixture of all items in a greased tray and roll it till thickness becomes 1 inch. Spread the nuts and item available for garnishing.
- Cut and store
- After cooling down the mixture cut it in square share of 1 inch. After cutting it wrap it in a butter paper and serve with pride, or you can store it.
Tips for Soan Papdi
- Consistency is fundamental: The sugar syrup should attain an appropriate thread level; undercooking will make the sweet chewy in preference to flaky.
- Beat while warm: The flaking happens best when the combination is crushed whilst nevertheless warm.
