Sabudana's Wada Bomb - Modern turn on classic fasting snacks. The joy of this bite size snacks is crispy from the outside and is filled with creamy paneer inside. Suitable for Navratri or for any festive occasion.
These stuffed sabudana bombs are crispy , flavorful and quite fast-friendly. Ideal for a party plate or festive breakfast.

Components:

For the Outer layer:

  • 1 cup of sabudana
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon fast flour
  • Sedha namak (rock salt/pink salt)

For Filling:

  • 1/2 cup paneer
  • 1 teaspoon fresh coriander
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • A pinch of Sedha namak

To fry:

  • Ghee or oil

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the paneer filling
  • Take a bowl, mix paneer, coriander, pepper and salt in a bowl.
  • Shape in small balls and set on the side.
Step 2: Make Sabudana's dough
  •  In a mixing bowl, combine soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, green chillies, ginger, peanuts, flour and salt.
  • Mix well to create dough like consistency .
Step 3: Assemble the bombs
  • Take a small portion of the Sabudana mixture, flatten it in your palm.
  • Place the paneer ball in the middle and seal it with a mixture of Sabudana .
  • Shape into rounded balls.
Step 4: Fry
  • Take a pan, heat ghee or oil in it.
  • Fry the sabudana balls until they turn golden and crispy .
  • Drain on a paper towel.

Serving Instructions:

Serve hot with vrat friendly mint chutney or sweet yogurt dip. This can be served in Navratri breakfast, festive thalis or even a starter at Satvik Dinner Party.
