Components:

  • 2 Cup Makhana (Fox Nuts/Lotus Seeds)
  • 1/2 cup raw peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (rock salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 4 tsp red chili powder (optional)
  • A pinch of mango or dry mango powder (optional )
  • Fresh curry leaves

Method:

  1. Take a pan and roast the peanuts until golden and crispy. Keep them on one side
  2. In the same pan, add ghee and fry on the low flame until crispy (about 6-8 minutes).
  3. Add the roasted peanuts back, sprinkle salt, pepper and chili powder. Toss well.
  4. Add a touch of amchur and curry leaves.
  5. Allow it to cool down completely before storing in airtight container.

Serving Suggestions:
