
A festive favorite snack which offers crispy, comforting and fasting recipe- Kuttu Pakora.
Components:
- Buckwheat Flour /Kuttu Ka Atta - 1/2 cup
- Boiled potatoes - 1 cup, mashed
- Green chili - 2 tsp, finely chopped
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Roasted peanuts - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) - to taste
- Water
- Oil - Deep for frying
Method:
- Mix batter
- Take a bowl, mix potatoes, buckwheat flour, green chilli, coriander, crushed peanuts, cumin powder and rock salt. Gradually add water to make a thick batter.
- Heat the oil
- Take a deep pan , heat the oil in it on a medium flame.
- Fry the pakoras
- Pour little ball size of batter in hot oil. Fry all until golden brown and crisp.
- Drain and serve
- Remove on absorbent paper. Serve hot with Vrat friendly chutney or plain yogurt.
