Types of Stuffed Paratha

Indian recipes basic staple are breads. It goes with almost all dishes. There are many varieties of it like Stuffed paratha featuring Aloo, Paneer, Gobi, Pyaz ,Matar, Corn and Pizza Paratha and many more. Enjoy easy, flavorful, pocket friendly recipes that blend tradition and authenticity.

Aloo Paratha 

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Boiled potatoes: 2 medium sized
  • Green chilies: 2 fine chopped
  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp 
  • Cumin powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam masala: 1/2 of tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Knead the flour with water to make a tender dough. Cover and allow it relaxation for 20 mins.
  2. Mix potatoes with cumin powder, garam masala, salt, excellent chopped inexperienced chilies and coriander to make the filling.
  3. Make medium sized balls with the dough. Now roll it and fill potato masala filling in the middle and seal.
  4. Roll the dough gently and cook them on a tawa with ghee until golden.

Paneer Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Grated paneer: 1 cup
  • Green chilies: 2 
  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp 
  • Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough as per above given instruction.
  2. Mix grated paneer, cumin seeds, salt, fine chopped chilies and coriander for the filling.
  3. Follow the same technique of stuffing, rolling, and cooking as for aloo paratha.

Gobhi Paratha 

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Grated cauliflower: 1 cup
  • Green chilies: 2 
  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp 
  • Ginger: 1 tsp 
  • Salt: to taste
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough as per above given instruction
  2. Cook the grated cauliflower lightly in little and then mix it with chopped green chilies, ginger, coriander, and salt.
  3. Stuff, roll, and cook gently on tawa with ghee until golden.

Sweet Mawa Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Mawa: 1 cup
  • Sugar: 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder: half of tsp
  • Nuts (chopped): 2 tbsp
  • Ghee: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough as above.
  2. Mix mawa, sugar, cardamom powder, and nuts to make the filling.
  3. Stuff, roll, and cook gently on tawa with ghee until golden.

Pyaz Ka Paratha 

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Onions: 3 
  • Ajwain: 1 tsp
  • Green chilies: 2 
  • Mint leaves: 1/4 cup 
  • Amchur: 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder: half tsp
  • Salt: to flavor
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Mix dough with flour, water, and salt. Let it rest for some time.
  2. Cook onions with ajwain, green chilies, and spices until soft.
  3. Cool the combination, then stuff, roll, and cook dinner the parathas until golden.

Broccoli and Dill Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Broccoli: 1 cup 
  • Dill leaves: half cup
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Besan: half cup
  • Salt: to flavor
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough as traditional.
  2. Sauté broccoli and dill with spices and besan till cooked.
  3. Cool the combination, then stuff, roll, and cook dinner the parathas until golden.

Paneer and Green Peas Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Paneer: 1 cup 
  • Green peas: 1/2 cup (boiled)
  • Ginger: 1 inch (grated)
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Amchur: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough and allow it rest.
  2. Sauté peas and paneer with spices till well blended.
  3. Cool the filling, then stuff, roll, and prepare dinner the parathas till golden brown.

Corn Stuffed Paratha

Ingredients:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  •  Sweet corn: 1 cup (boiled)
  •  Potatoes: 2 (boiled)
  •  Green chilies: 1 
  •  Coriander leaves: 1 handful 
  •  Salt: to flavor
  •  Ghee or oil: for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Knead the dough and permit it rest.
  2. Mix corn, potatoes, and spices for the filling.
  3. Stuff, roll, and prepare dinner the parathas on a warm tawa till golden.

Pizza Paratha

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • Flour: 2 cups (Whole wheat)
  • Maida: 1 cup
  • Salt: half tsp
  • Water: as wished
  • Oil: 1 tsp (for kneading)

For the Stuffing:

  • Mozzarella cheese: 1 cup 
  • Onion: half of cup
  • Tomato: 1/four cup 
  • Capsicum: 1/2 cup 
  • Pizza sauce: half cup
  • Oregano: One tsp
  • Chili flakes: one tsp
  • Black pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Salt: to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix wheat flour,maida, and salt in a bowl.Gradually add water and knead right into a smooth dough.Add oil, knead again, and allow it rest for 20 mins.
  2. Prepare of Filling: To put together the filling in a bowl blend all ingredients like cheese and chopped onion, tomato, capsicum, oregano, chili flakes, black pepper powder and salt collectively.
  3. Assemble the Paratha: Divide the dough into same-sized balls.Roll out one ball right into a small circular disk. Spread a layer of pizza sauce at the disk, leaving the rims. Place 2-three tablespoons of the stuffing within the center.Bring the edges together to seal the stuffing and form a ball. Gently roll the filled dough right into a thick paratha.
  4. Cook the Paratha: Heat a tawa on medium warmth. Now place the paratha on it to cook it well.
  5. Serve: Serve it with ketchup or a dip of your preference.
