
This Vrat Thali has the healthy dishes like vrat khichdi, creamy makhana kheer and cucumber raita. These dishes makes vrat days pleasant and flavorful. Fasting meals should be light, clean, and nourishing.
Ingredients:
Sabudana Khichdi
Sabudana Khichdi
- Take a pan, heat ghee . Now add jeera, green chilies and potatoes in the pan.
- Cook the aloo till they are half cooked .
- Now, add sabudana which is soaked , peanuts, and rock salt.
- Cook on medium flame until sabudana changes color and is little transparent.
- Add coriander leaves on top .
Cucumber Raita
- Whisk curd till smooth in texture.
- Add cucumber which grated , salt, and jeera powder.
- Add coriander leaves on top.
Makhana Kheer
- Take a pan, heat ghee , roast makhana till crispy.
- Crush the makhana a little and add to boiling milk.
- Cook until makhana is soft and cooked for 10-12 minutes.
- Add sugar, choti elaichi powder, and dry fruits.
- Cook until kheer thickens slightly.
