The recipe for Masala Maggi is spicy, slurpy noodle dish . It combines nostalgia, spice and irresistible comfort. This recipe brings street-style magic home with a few staples and a whole lot of soul.

Components:

  • 1 packet Maggi Instant Noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste (optional - Maggi taste maker already has salt)
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Sautéing the aromatics
    1. Take a pan, heat oil in it .Once the oil is hot, add jeera in the oil . Then , add onions and green chillies. Fry for some time.
  2. Add vegetables and masalas
    1. Next step is to add vegetables like tomatoes and capsicum. Cook until soft. After that- powder masalas like turmeric, red chili and garam masala. Mix in well.
  3. Noodle time!
    1. Add water and boil. Add Maggi noodles and tastemaker masala mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the noodles are soft .
  4. Finish
    1. Decorate with fresh coriander and lemon juice. Serve hot !
