Method:
- Cornflour mixture preparation :
- Add one cup of cornflour and 2 cup of water and mix then well, to get a slurry mixture without any lumps.
- Making sugar syrup:
- Put 2 cups of sugar in a pan with 2 cups of water . Boil until and make one-string consistency sugar syrup.
- Combine slurry and syrup:
- Now in the sugar syrup, add the cornflour slurry , stir continuously to avoid any lumps.
- Cook with ghee:
- Add ghee regularly at the same time as stirring. Continue cooking on medium warmness until the aggregate thickens and turns sleek.
- Flavor and shade:
- Add cardamom powder and food color. Mix properly.
- Add nuts:
- For crunch, stir in chopped nuts .
- Set the halwa:
- Transfer to a greased tray, flatten it on the top. Cut into any shape of your choice after it is cool, and its ready to eat.
