Ingredients:
For Chutney Base:
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 2–3 green chilies (or dried red chilies)
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Salt to flavor
- 1/2 cup water
For Tempering :
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1–2 dried red chilies
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
Method:
- Take roasted peanuts, chilies, ginger , tamarind, salt, and water and blend everything into a paste.
- Adjust consistency by adding extra water if needed.
- To prepare tempering, heat oil, add mustard , urad dal, and curry leaves. Put the tadka over chutney.
- The chutney is ready to be enjoyed with any south Indian dish.
