
A lovely treat that is warm , comforting, and birthday party vibes. This butter cake is soft, rich, and perfect for tea-time, for kids or children's day.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup or 225g unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup or 200g granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups or 250g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat and Preparation
- Preheat oven over 175'C and take a baking pan, grease it, place butter paper in it.
- Creaming Butter & Sugar
- Take a large bowl. Put butter and sugar and beat them till the color of butter is light and fluffy.
- This step is fundamental for a light texture.
- Add Eggs
- Take eggs , start adding and beating after each addition. At this stage, stir in vanilla extract .
- Mixing all Dry Ingredients
- Take another separate bowl. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in it .Gradually fold into the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
- Bake
- Pour batter into organized pan.
- Smooth the batter and bake for 35–40 minutes, or till a toothpick inserted within the middle comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve
- Let the cake to cool down in the pan for 10 mins, then transfer to a rack.
- Slice in to pieces of your choice and dust with powdered sugar .
