Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp. coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp. fennel seeds
- 1 tbsp. black peppercorns
- 1 tbsp. mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp. fenugreek seeds
- 2-3 dried red chilies
- 1 tbsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp. garam masala
- 1 tbsp. dry ginger powder
- 1 tsp cardamom seeds
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 3-4 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
- Take a pan, Keep the flame on low heat .Dry roast all the whole spices like coriander, cumin, fennel, peppercorns, mustard, fenugreek, chilies, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaf till fragrant.
- Allow roasted spices to cool down.
- With the use of a spice grinder, grind them into a fine powder .
- Mix in turmeric, dry ginger powder, and garam masala.
- Store in an jar in a dry area.
Usage Ideas:
- Use 1–2 tsp in vegetable curries, dals, or chicken dishes.
