Chicken Pakora isn't only a snack, it's a mixture of spice, texture and taste. this recipe is a great crispy snack whether you're hosting a party or for family gathering.
It is an Indian Street food loved by every Indian. It is an easy chicken recipe, a crispy bite of flavor bomb, in a spiced chickpea flour batter and deep-frying magic. Here we are going to check Chicken Pakora recipe made for 3 people serving.
Ingredients:
- 250 gm of boneless chicken which is cut into thin strips or small cubes
- 6 teaspoon gram flour (besan)
- 3 tsp rice flour
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 sprigs curry leaves, chopped
- 3/4 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/3 tsp salt (as per taste)
- 2 Tbsp Water (as required)
- Oil for too deep frying pakora
Instructions:
- Batter Preparing
- First, we need to prepare the batter, for it mix besan, rice or chawal flour, salt, turmeric or haldi, chili powder and garam masala. In this mixture add ginger garlic paste, onion, green chilli and curry leaves into batter.
- Chicken and Egg mixing
- Add the chicken pieces and egg whites. Mix everything well. Add water slowly - just enough to coat the chicken in a thick, sticky mixture.
- Heating the oil
- Heating oil in one of the key parts for making Pakora. Now take oil and heat it in a deep kadhai on medium heat.
- Batch Fry
- Now to make Chicken Pakora, place the chicken pieces into the hot oil, in some quantity at a time. Let them fry for 2 minutes until golden and crisp for about 5-6 minutes.
- Drain and Serve
- After frying the pakora, to dry it we need to use paper towel. Now serve it with green chutney or with ketchup.
Tips!
If your batter accidentally gets too thin, add a little more besan and rice/corn flour to thicken it up.
