
Celebrate Jamashtami with this Makhan Misri bhog - homemade butter, jaggery, rock sugar and fresh cream, finished with tulsi leaves. It is a offering for Lord Sri Krishna and festive prasad.

- Place the ice cubes in a deep bowl and pour in a fresh cream.
- Whisk until the cream is separated in butter and buttermilk.
- Strain the cubes of ice and drain from the buttermilk. Use a sieve for the best results.
- Transfer butter solids to a chilled bowl. Add ghee and continue whisking until soft.
- Fold in the misri , cardamom powder and chopped pistachios.
- Garnish with tulsi leaves and transfer to the serving dish.
