Ingredients:
- 2 cups of milk powder
- 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
- 1 cup powder sugar
- 3 tablespoons ghee
- 1/2 cup of condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (nuts, pistachios) for decoration
Method:
- Gently grease the shallow plate or 8 × 8inch tray with ghee and place one side.
- In a nonstick pan, the ghee dissolves over low heat. Add condensed milk and stir until smooth.
- Sift the milk powder and cocoa powder and add slowly, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps.
- Cook the mixture for 5–7 minutes, until it starts to leave the sides of the pan and forms a soft, dough.
- Remove from heat, add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt. Mix until it is evenly combined.
- Transfer immediately to the greased tray. Spread and layer with spatula or your fingers .
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and press them gently.
- Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes at room temperature, then refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
- Serve by cutting diamonds or square shapes.
