Butter Garlic Eggs

Introduction:

  Butter garlic eggs are a classic, protein -rich snack a simple yet joyful turn that takes the normal boiled eggs to a whole new level.  Sprinkle some salt, black pepper and red chilli flakes which adds the right amount of kick, making each bite a complete balance of creamy, delicious and light spicy taste. Served as a breakfast, a snack or a side dish for a healthy meal, this recipe is full of taste.

Ingredients:

  • 4 big eggs  
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter  
  • 5 garlic cloves  
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper 
  • Red chilli flakes  
  • Fresh parsley or coriander
  • lemon juice  

 Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs:  
    • Take a saucepan , put the eggs in it and cover them with cold water. Bring to a  boil over high heat.
    •  Once boiling, simmer the heat and cook for 9-10 minutes. Immediately transfer the egg to the ice bath to stop cooking. Once cooled, peel the eggs gently.
  2. Prepare garlic butter sauce:  
    •  Now another pan, melt some butter on medium heat. Carefully add minced garlic and red chilli flakes.
    •  Fry for about 30-45 seconds until garlic is aromatic - be careful not to overdo garlic to prevent any bitterness.
  3. Coat the boiled eggs:  
    • Add the peeled eggs to the pan. You can leave them whole or cut them into half.
  4. Finish and season:  
    • Add a pinch of salt and black pepper powder over the egg. If desired, drizzle with a small amount of lemon juice to add a tangy taste. 
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives  .
  5. Serve and enjoy:  
    • Plate your butter garlic boiled eggs as a fun single snack, serve them over toasted bread, or use as a protein -rich addition to your salad.
