 Kesar Peda is an Indian sweet made with milk, cardamom and saffron . Its yellow golden color and aroma make is a festive favorite throughout different celebrations.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Boil milk
    • Take a pan, Pour milk into it and boil, stirring sometimes.
  2. Reduce to khoya
    • Cook on low heat, till it thickens into khoya or milk solids.
  3. Add flavoring
    • Add in sugar, cardamom powder, saffron , and ghee. Cook till mixture leaves facets of the pan.
  4. Shape pedas
    • Cool barely, then shape into small spherical pedas. Garnish with nuts.
  5. Serve
    • Allow to set and serve heat or at room temperature.
