Paneer Tikka Pasta Recipe: Fusion of Spice & Comfort

Paneer tikka Pasta
An Indian style pasta made with fusion flavors-Paneer Tikka Pasta. A pasta dish that blend the bold taste of Indian spices and comfort of Italian pasta.

Components:

For Pasta:

  • Pasta - 250 grams
  • Salt
  • Water

For Paneer Tikka :

  • 200 gms Paneer
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric/Haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

For Sauce and Vegetables:

  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Capsicum
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • Fresh coriander or mint - for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Marinating the Paneer :
    • To prepare marination, in a bowl add curd, red chilly powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice and salt and mix it well. Now add paneer and mix it well with prepared marination.
  2. Cooking pasta:
    • Take a deep pan, boil pasta in salted water . Drain and put aside.
  3. Fry Paneer :
    • Take pan, heat the oil in the pan over medium heat. Fry marinated Paneer until golden . Remove and set aside.
  4. Add Veggies :
    • Now, in the same pan, add chopped onions and capsicum. Cook for 2-3 minutes .
  5. Assemble Pasta:
    • Now, add tomato sauce , cooked pasta and mix until everything together.
  6. Decoration and Serving:
    • The pasta is ready .Decorate with chopped coriander or mint garnish . Enjoy warm flavors!
