Veg Burger with French Fries Recipe

Crispy vegetable patty burger stacked with fresh veggies, creamy sauce & served with golden French fries! Easy homemade recipe, perfect for dinner.

 A delicious homemade veg burger with  vegetable patty, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato and creamy sauce with golden, crunchy French fries. Suitable for family dinner or weekends. This crowd-pleasing meal brings the quality of the restaurant to your kitchen in an hour.

Ingredients:

 For Vegetable Patties:  

  •  1 cup of boiled and mashed potatoes  
  •  1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn), finely chopped  
  •  1/2 cup of breadcrumbs  
  •  2 tablespoons cornflour  
  •  1 small onion, finely dice  
  •  2 garlic cloves, minced  
  •  1 tablespoon chili powder  
  •  1 teaspoon garam spice  
  •   1/2 teaspoon black pepper  
  •  Salt, to taste  
  •  2 tablespoons fresh coriander chopped  
  •  2 tablespoons of oil (for shallow frying)

 For burgers : 

  • 4 burger buns, toasted  
  • Lettuce leaves  
  • 1 big tomato, sliced  
  • 4 pieces cheese slice  
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise  
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup 

 For French fries:  

  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks  
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch  
  • Oil, Deep For frying  
  • Salt and Paprika, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Take a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, chopped vegetables, breadcrumbs, corn flour, onions, garlic, spices and coriander. Mix well and shape in four evenly sized patties.  
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet on medium heat.  shallow fry patties until golden brown on both sides, 4 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel.  
  3. Toss potato sticks with cornstarch, then heat the oil in a deep vessel or fryer to 350 ° F (175 ° C). Fry fries for about 5-6 minutes and gold until golden. Drain and season with salt and Paprika.  
  4. Spread mayo and ketchup on toasted buns. Layer lettuce, pieces of tomato, patty and cheese (if used). Top with Bun .  
  5. Serve Burger with french fries.

 Tips and Varietions:
