
Dal Paratha is a healthy North Indian paratha filled with spicy lentils. The crispy outside and flavorful lentil filling, it’s a great combination of protein and carbohydrates.

- Cook dal
- Boil soaked chana dal until soft but now not gentle. Drain excess water.
- Prepare stuffing
- Heat oil, add cumin , onion, ginger, chilies, and spices. Add cooked dal and coriander leaves. Cool the mixture.
- Make dough
- Prepare a soft dough with water and a pinch of salt . Rest for 15 mins.
- Stuff paratha
- Roll out dough balls, location dal aggregate in the middle, fold, and roll again into thick discs.
- Cook paratha
- Heat tawa, roast the paratha with ghee until golden brown spots .
- Serve
- Serve hot with curd, pickle, or chutney.
