Chole Masala is a North Indian dish that combines  chickpeas with a fragrant mixture of spices. Chole Masala Powder is the star of this recipe , a spice mix that elevates the curry with its earthy, tangy, and spicy notes.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare masala base
    • Take a pan, heat oil in it. Add cumin , and allow them to splutter.
  2. Sauté aromatics
    • Now, add onions and sauté till golden . Add green chilies, ginger and garlic paste .
  3. Add spices
    • Put haldi , red chili and chole masala .Stir for a minute.
  4. Tomato
    • Add puree of tomatoes and cook till oil is separated from the masala. It shows that is masala is cooked properly.
  5. Add chole
    • Now, add boiled chole in the prepared masala. Cook on slow flame for 20 minutes.
  6. Finish
    • To finish the dish, put coriander leaves .
