Ingredients and Recipes:

1.Makhan Misri

Ingredients:

  • Fresh white butter (makhan)
  • Rock sugar (misri)

Method: 

  • Mix and serve in a silver bowl as a favorite teat of Krishna.

2. Panjiri

Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour
  • Ghee
  • Powdered sugar
  • Dry fruits
  • Gond (edible gum)

Method:

  •  Roast the flour in ghee, add crushed gond and dry fruits, mix with sugar.

3. Aloo Makhana Curry

Ingredients:

  • Boiled potatoes
  • Fox nuts (makhana)
  • Tomato puree
  • Spices

Method:

  •  Add the butter, boiled potatoes and tomato gravy, simmer until thick.

4. Saffron Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice
  • Saffron strands
  • Dry fruit
  • Ghee
